Celebrating 10 Years of SOS

Join Us in Celebrating a Decade of Impact, Hope, and Suicide Prevention

SOS Silence of Suicide is proud to celebrate a monumental milestone—10 years of offering suicide prevention support, raising awareness, and breaking the silence on mental health struggles. On 18 July 2025, we’ll come together to honour a decade of meaningful work, empowering individuals affected by suicide, mental health challenges, and the stigma, silence and shame surrounding these issues.

Since our founding, SOS Silence of Suicide has been committed to providing life-saving support, offering resources for suicide prevention, and fostering a community of hope and understanding. This anniversary is not just a reflection of where we’ve been—it’s a celebration of the change we’ve created and the future we will continue to build.

Why This 10-Year Anniversary Matters

This event marks a significant milestone for SOS Silence of Suicide and the communities we serve. Over the last decade, we’ve made immense strides in reducing the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health, providing crucial resources, and supporting those in need. We’ve helped countless individuals through our suicide prevention programmes and created a safe space for those who are struggling.

Our anniversary celebration is an opportunity to come together as a community, to share stories of hope, and to honour those who have been part of this incredible journey.

What to Expect at the 10th Anniversary Event:

  • Inspiring Keynote Speakers: Hear from mental health advocates, suicide prevention experts, and survivors who will share their insights and experiences. Their words will inspire and motivate us to continue the fight for mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
  • Emotional Performances: Moving performances and personal stories that highlight the strength of the individuals we’ve helped and the power of community in overcoming mental health challenges.
  • Commemorative Moments: Reflect on the incredible work we’ve done together and honour those we’ve lost. This is an event to remember and heal, while looking ahead at the work still to be done.
  • Community Celebration: This event is a tribute to the resilience of our community. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or are just learning about our mission, we’ll celebrate the collective strength we’ve built in the fight against suicide.
